They are three young women from Michigan whose faces have long since disappeared from headline news, but whose families have never given up hope of finding out what happened to them.

Kimberly Louiselle, Christina Castiglione and Anne Marie Doroghazi were all murdered in the 1980s, and the similarities between their cases has led many to suggest their deaths may have come at the hands of a serial killer.

However, regardless of whether or not this proves to be true, investigators believe there is still a chance modern forensic techniques could one day lead to answers to all three murders — and justice. Here are their stories.
