It was July 4th 1985, and 20-year-old Lisa K Snyder from New Hampshire was making the most of the long holiday weekend by visiting a nightclub in Dover. However, she never came home and she was discovered murdered two years later.

The case has never been solved, but her killing has been linked to a man known to be responsible for at least one other death and connected to yet another cold case.

With the family still waiting for justice, could it be that this is another murder ripe for re-examining using the latest DNA technology?

Lisa Snyder’s murder

Lisa lived in the small town of Bow in New Hampshire in 1985, but she was visiting her sister in nearby Rollinsford that Fourth of July weekend. She decided to venture out to a nightclub in Dover just four miles away, and it appears from reports that she went to the venue alone.

When Lisa failed to return, her sister filed a missing persons report and efforts began to locate the young woman.
