Cold Case Murder Solved After Woman-Hating Killer ‘Finds Jesus’
Linda Little’s cold case has been solved at last, and her murderer might have been a serial killer.
More than 30 years after a woman living in Florida disappeared without a trace, a man has been charged in connection with her murder following a prison confession.
Daytona Beach Police announced that an already-convicted murderer named Michael Townson has been indicted for first-degree murder relating to the case of Linda Little in front of a Volusia County Grand Jury.
Where is Linda Little?
South Carolina native Linda was living in Florida’s Daytona Beach area and was weeks away from celebrating her 44th birthday in October 1991.
She worked at the Chart House restaurant on South Beach Street and left her shift at around 1:00 AM on October 11th, riding her blue bicycle home as she usually did. On the way, she stopped for a drink at a bar named Matey’s Brig where she met up with some friends and talked about an upcoming trip she had planned.
Interestingly, Linda told the friends she would be going with her boyfriend to celebrate their one-year anniversary, but the Charley Project reports that the boyfriend had already called to cancel…
