Hi Ann, from the source I found (Link below), which states: "Joseph Leuw, a fellow inmate with Appellant, testified that Appellant told him that he had been in the area of the art gallery on the day of the murder and that he had a wig in his car that belonged to his daughter". I took that to mean that if he had a wig in his car and the police looked in the vehicle, they should have found it..I think the FBI Files episode on the topic also mentions the wig was found. Did you have a source that suggests otherwise?
