It should have been a relaxing trip into the forests of rural Colorado when the Harvey family left from Texas in the summer of 1984. They had a seasonal trailer and would often go to the mobile home park in Hinsdale County to enjoy outdoor pursuits such as hiking and fishing.

However, when their 14-year-old son Christopher left to go for a walk and failed to return, it began an almost-40-year sentence of heartache that has never been resolved.

As time passes by, will there ever be any answers?

Chris vanishes

It was 11th July 1984 and the Harvey family had already set up camp at the mobile home park they frequented on the edge of the San Juan National Forest in Colorado. They knew a number of other regular families there and 14-year-old Christopher would call in to see them during their vacations.
