Theresa Insana was 26 and had everything going for her in 2004. An ambitious young professional who had moved cross-country and worked her way up to a great job in sales, she was also close to and much-loved by her family and childhood friends.

But all this was to be ripped away from her when someone entered Theresa’s home that fall and brutally murdered her. Almost 20 years on, can investigators track down the elusive lead that will finally crack this cold case and bring the family justice?

Theresa, affectionately known as Tree by her loved ones, grew up in the Niagara Falls area of New York and attended Binghampton University, where she studied psychology. But when she graduated, she wondered if her career didn’t lie down a different path than academia.

In fact, she fancied a change of scene altogether — and she decided in 2000 that the bright lights of Las Vegas, Nevada could provide that for her.
