Police Name Person of Interest in Morgan Nick Case

A child abduction case dating back to 1995 is hitting the headline again amid potential developments.

For more than 25 years, the whereabouts of six-year-old Morgan Nick from Arkansas have remained a mystery. The youngster was abducted from a Little League game and never seen or heard from since.

Now, though, the FBI seem hopeful that they may be close to cracking the case — and they have named a person of interest. Here, we’ll take a closer look.

Morgan’s disappearance

It was June 9th 1995, and the Morgan family from Ozark had made the half-hour journey to Alma to enjoy a Little League game at Wofford Field on a balmy summer’s evening.

Six-year-old Morgan, something of a homebody, had stayed close to her mother Colleen and her siblings throughout the event. However, as the game wrapped up, she had been tempted to go and play in an adjacent parking lot and grassy area with some of the other children in attendance, who were catching fireflies.
