‘Someone in Town Knows’ Who Killed Schoolgirl Johanna Young
The 14-year-old was murdered at Christmas time in 1992, but no one has ever been charged.
Police in the English county of Norfolk have said they will continue to seek answers in the unsolved murder of a schoolgirl dating back to 1992.
Johanna Young was just 14 when her life was cut short in the most brutal way and, despite arrests having been made over the years, no one has ever been charged.
However, investigators say they believe someone knows who did it — and that the answers probably lie uncomfortably close to home for those in the small community of Watton.
Johanna disappears
It was December 23rd 1992, and Johanna had left her family home in Watton at around 7:30 PM to go out on what proved to be a particularly cold and foggy night.
She was seen by Christmas shoppers in and around the town centre between 7:30 PM and 8:45 PM, but these would be the final sightings of her.
The first sign that there was something wrong was at 6:00 AM the next morning, when Johanna’s bedside alarm clock went off for her paper round and she failed to respond to it.
