You might well have noticed lately that there suddenly seems to be a raft of celebrities opting to have all their hair lopped off. This happens periodically, but it has undoubtedly become more of a trend since lockdown measures started to ease.

After all, when you haven’t been to the hairdresser for months it’s more than a little tempting to have something drastic done, as well as to get rid of the long tresses you cultivated when confined to your own four walls.

Below are some top tips on how to style cropped dos if you’re considering emulating some of these famous faces.

Going for the chop

Miley Cyrus showed off pictures of her new shaggy pixie crop during lockdown, while Kristen Stewart updated her Charlie’s Angels ‘do with red dye and spikiness.

Jada Pinkett Smith, China McClain and Hayden Panettiere have also been rocking far shorter hair in recent weeks.
