Thank you for your thoughtful response, Jo Ann. I was 17 when 9/11 happened and found it especially shocking because it was during my lifetime, not in the history books like other 'big' events. I also remember being horrified after reading why rescuers couldn't simply pull bodies out the next day - because they were barely there any more, which had never even occurred to me. I too hope science continues to find ways to deliver closure to the families still grieving. Thanks again for your comment!
