As a sophomore attending the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, 20-year-old Angelina Sicola seemed to have it all. The beautiful young communications student was not only known for her caring and generous nature, but she was also a talented athlete.

She had a black belt in taekwondo and taught the discipline at a local martial arts centre, plus she was planning on taking an additional examination to work her way even further up the belt grades.

Her sister Amber told the Gazette: “Angie was a strong, confident woman who always made others laugh or smile with her silliness and kindness. She was driven to be independent and successful in everything she tried.”

Angie had aspirations to become either a wedding planner or a TV news reporter, but her mother Pamela Lively said she would likely have leaned toward the latter if she was going to predict a future career.
