When LeRyan Nicholson went missing in the spring of 1998, his family was forced to begin a 15-year journey to find answers about what happened to him.
However, little did they know his body had been discovered just a day after his disappearance and labelled a John Doe by blundering police. Now, with his identity returned to him, can new investigators find out what really happened to LeRyan?

LeRyan Nicholson, 18, lived with his family in Nashville, Tennessee, where he attended Pearl Cohn High School and was renowned for his excellence in track.
Billy Fellman, who was a coach at the school in the 1990s, told The Tennessean LeRyan was a great runner.
“As a freshman, he won the city championship in the mile and half-mile, top five in the district and region as a freshman. He was just a natural talent,” he added.
Unfortunately, LeRyan had begun to struggle with some mental health problems during his school career, which culminated in him being diagnosed with schizophrenia. He attended a Job Corps rather than continuing with his schooling and moved from his mother’s…
