These cases are awful enough when they involve a young person being taken and murdered straight away, but I think the ones where the victims vanish with a potential sighting are perhaps even worse. Parents must be left with the torment of possible sex trafficking and their child being in need of rescue somewhere. The Amy Bradley case that I wrote about in my early days on Medium is one that especially plays on my mind for this reason. My heart goes out to the Tuders and I hope Tabitha can be found safe one day.
