Was Robin Graham’s Disappearance Linked to The Manson Family Murders?
The 18-year-old was abducted from a California highway, and there are chilling reports about who might have picked her up.
Robin Graham had been doing what most 18-year-olds like to do on November 14th 1970: she had been for an evening out after a shift at her part-time job. But when she got car trouble by the highway, she became one of so many young women who have fallen victim to abductions by apparent ‘Good Samaritans’.
However, what is particularly interesting and chilling about Robin’s story is who her abductor might have been — and whether or not she could have been the prey of a serial killer.
A misunderstanding — and a vanishing
Robin worked at Pier One Imports part-time and had parked her car there during her shift on November 14th. When she had finished working, her boyfriend picked her up in his car and drove her to the party before bringing her back at the end of the night to collect her vehicle once more.
The two parted company and Robin drove alone to US Highway 101 southbound to head home. But at around 2:00 AM, the car spluttered and died close to Santa Monica Boulevard and Vermont Avenue in Los Angeles.
