Will DNA Reveal Las Vegas Had a Serial Killer?

Forensics has already shown two girls were killed by the same man, but detectives suspect he actually victimised several more.

It was January 26th 1979 when 16-year-old Kim Bryant was last seen alive. She had been with a friend to the Dairy Queen near her high school and planned to get a ride with her boyfriend not long afterwards.

But by the time her boyfriend got to their meeting place, there was no sign of Kim. The fact that her school bag had been left lying in the street told him and her family that something was very wrong.

Almost an agonising month later, their worst fears were confirmed: Kim’s body was discovered dumped in the desert. She had been kidnapped, raped and strangled, apparently by someone who plucked her from the street.

Her father Edward Elliott told the Las Vegas Review Journal: “A 16-year-old girl — this SOB took her life and everything she had going for her.”
